Disaster in a box!

Winter is arriving but it will be worse for those in Ukraine this year.  We have a very concerned and involved citizen in Rockport Area who is involved in collecting winter clothing, heaters, sleeping bags etc. and then helps with the delivery in January.

Jason Page is taking donations to be dropped off at the Rockport Customs Park from now until Dec.15th.  2-6pm. 

A way to help others in war torn Ukraine.

Thanks to the community of Rockport and surrounding areas in TLTI for the hard work in helping Jason Page collecting clothes, blankets, etc. for those in need in the Ukraine! Thanks to the volunteers, local residents, for donations and the packaging up all the stuff heading to the Ukraine! Thanks to the Rockport Recreation Hall for supplying an area for the packaging. Thanks to the Friends of Rockport Customs for collecting the material. Thanks to Church of the Remer in Rockport for donation $1000 for shipping costs. Special thanks to Wendy Merkley and the volunteers of the Rockport Development Group (RDG) for helping in this big project!
