Our Mission Statement:

To promote good quality sustainable tourism in our village that preserves and fosters a continued

 awareness of our long heritage and to make Rockport a premiere destination in the 1000 Islands.

The Rockport Development Group was formed in March 2007. The group is a combination of local business people and residents with passion and pride for their community, working together to make Rockport a premiere destination. We have accomplished many things in a short time, all related to improving good quality, sustainable tourism in Rockport.
